Lakeside Ready Mix opened for business in September 1999 on Vances Mill Road. After quickly outgrowing that location, Lakeside Ready Mix moved to our new, state-of-the-art Stephens Concrete facility in July 2002. The very foundation of our success lies in our reputation for providing a high quality product and dependable service. Since opening, our fleet of VDOT approved radio-dispatched trucks, easily recognized by the colorful Lakeside Ready Mix logo, can be seen delivering thousands of yards of concrete each year to major construction sites and private homes.

While concrete hardens to become one of the most durable building materials known to man, our staff is ever-evolving to stay ahead of the newest techniques in the industry. Each year, we send a delegate to the "World of Concrete," the industry's largest trade show, to participate in continuing education and certification classes for various concrete applications and products. This dedication to continuous improvement is your assurance that our skill level lives up to the quality of our product. Also, throughout the year, we host educational classes and certification opportunities for regional builders who utilize our products in their projects.
